The Gilded Quill cuts a nice refined polished exterior on the streets of The Copper District. With rich mahogany wood, beautiful bay windows with an amber tint, planter boxes filled with various flowers and ivy, its masterfully carved wooden sign swings gently above the entrance, depicting a simple golden quill dripping with ink that seems to shimmer even on overcast days.

No matter the hour, the interior of the Gilded Quill maintains a loud boisterous energy. In the mornings, merchants can be found sealing deals over strong wine and breakfast, their negotiations interrupted only briefly by the crash of a fight from gamblers who never seemed to leave from the night before. Afternoon brings scholars abandoning their studies for “just one drink” that inevitably becomes five, their philosophical arguments growing louder with each round of drinks. By evening, the place quiets down initially, as only those with a membership are allowed to visit the tavern more than one night in a row. Guests are of course welcome, and it often becomes a very nice date-night spot with expensive wine, and various foods cooked to perfection.

Above, the second floor has a few doors to private offices for esteemed members of Quill to make use of. The Shadowbind Family make use of many of these offices, and indeed own and run the place. Most notably Opti’s permanent office is here.
